Account Manager (Minimum of 5+ years of experience)
Location: Johannesburg Based Role (Hybrid - In-office twice per week)
The Account Manager is responsible for the commercial growth of specific insurance verticals in the business. This includes understanding data, analyzing information across clients, liaising with clients, and utilizing all of this information to optimize performance. The Account Manager is required to oversee various aspects of lead generation and campaign management.
Key Requirements for the Role:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance, specifically in campaign performance and campaign optimization.
- Must be familiar with lead sources, lead volumes, cost per lead, profit per lead, earnings per lead, gross profit, conversion rates, etc.
- Experience in client relationship management and call centre sales.
- Tertiary Education required.
- Must have a driver’s licence and own vehicle and must be comfortable with travelling to clients.
- Excel and PowerPoint proficient.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage one of our product verticals (e.g., Car Insurance, Business Insurance, etc.) autonomously end-to-end. This means being accountable for the overall performance of the vertical and the clients therein.
- Utilize data and reporting to understand campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization on campaigns.
- Work closely with our internal marketing team to deliver on quality lead volumes for clients.
- Manage multiple clients within your vertical. This includes building meaningful relationships with different stakeholders at your clients. The key stakeholders include agents, team leaders, campaign managers, and marketing managers.
- Conduct weekly client visits to all clients at the client’s offices, located across Johannesburg. This includes spending time with key stakeholders as well as spending time on the Call Centre floor to gather a keen sense of the agents and the environment.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual business growth targets & objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities across the business’ client base and convert additional opportunities.
